Baguio Food Trip

BAGUIO CITY, BENGUET – Going to Baguio is always a treat for those wanting to have a break in the chaos of Manila. Baguio can be chaotic too during holidays and long weekends. However, what really makes Baguio the quintessential tourist destination will be the food culture that is constantly evolving. What is unique about Baguio is the fact that you can savour both local Cordillera cuisine and food from all over the country and abroad as well.

First things first: Baguio Accommodations

You can always get a good bargain from AirBnB offerings in Baguio. For our stay this time, we decided to book in a newly constructed hotel right in the middle of town – Travelite Express Hotel. This hotel is on the north side of Burnham Park and just across Baguio City Hall. This location is perfect in making sure you get the most of your Baguio food trip.

Other accommodations worth checking:

  • The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay
  • C Boutique Hotel
  • Microtel by Wyndham Baguio
  • Casa Vallejo Hotel
  • Paladin Hotel
  • This Baguio food trip is based on a limited itinerary and made possible by mostly commuting using Baguio’s reliable taxis.

    Daddy’s Restaurant

Located near Travelite Express Hotel, this grill and restaurant is open 24/7. They offer local dishes with very affordable prices.

Servings are good for 2-3 people so expect to have a feast. The staff are attentive and friendly. The ambiance is a typical hole-in-the-wall establishment. Which for me they can definitely work and improve on.
