Check out and explore The Mind Museum at Taguig (or in Taguig? 🙂 ) website for any promos especially for the holidays and long weekends.
I was probably looking for a wow factor after passing through the turnstile, however it was just not there. I was longing for something that will excite me just like the first time I browse through all the dinosaur books in the library of my public elementary school.
We saw a robot. Not like Hubo, independent robot from KAIST, the DARPA Robotic Challenge 2015 winner:
There was this big melting chocolate and a machine to turn your hair split-ends nightmare come to life.
Be prepared for some shadow play.
I was happy that Velociraptors were depicted from recent scientific findings giving them feathers and dropping the menacing looks of Jurassic Park. Though Michael Crichton will still be my favorite author.
We tried the make-me-look-like-an-ape booth. It was quite fun.
Tyrannosaurus rex was a good place to take awesome photos!
Exploring the universe can be dizzying.
There other exhibits and science-y stuff that can be seen in the museum. The place was not packed with students when we got to visit. Just have the open mind to learn new stuff (or refresh them if you will). Explore The Mind Museum at Taguig at least just once. Give it a try. You may be surprised how science comes alive!
We had our lunch at P.F. Chang’s. Not to be missed were the xiaolongbao and spicy chicken. These were really awesome!
We stayed for a while for some coffee since it was raining at that time before calling it a day.
